I tried to buy on LuLu and it said there was an issue with the source files:

"It has come to our attention that your order ... cannot be completed because the source files for the project “Points of Light” contain errors preventing it from being printed. We've unfortunately had no choice but to remove this item from your order, and have refunded you accordingly. You should see a refund reflected in your original payment method within the next few business days."

I don't suppose there's anyway you could re-upload and fix it? I bought the .PDF but have decided I need to also have a hardcover print to go with it!

Also keen to get a physical copy, looks like the Lulu link just 404s now :(

Is the hardcover gone from LuLu?

At some point during revisions it seems like it got switched from Public to Private. I've fixed it now and it should be available again!

If you purchase from LuLu, does that qualify you for a PDF here to be added to itch account?

Any answer to this please?

Is there any other purchase options besides paypal?

I don't know how Itch's payment methods work. If you can't find a method you'd like to use on here, check out DTRPG instead. I think they have other methods. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/426520/Points-of-Ligh

Are there any plans for future releases, such as zines, expanded bestiary, expanded spell list, ect., under the Points of Light name? Also is there a facebook group/discord/reddit group for Points of Light? I really appreciate what you've done with the rules and I would enjoy future releases regardless of how big or small they may be.

Hi! No Discord or Facebook group (yet), but perhaps there might be in the future. And I am planning to release at least some supplements in the future. I wanted to make sure the core rulebook contains more than enough material to sustain a game for a long time, so there are a lot of things my group still wants to try out, but I do plan to release things like extra classes, monsters, spells etc. eventually!

Just ordered the hardback. I love the Mörk Borg rules, but my regular gaming group isn't ready to dive into the heavy metal mayhem of that world. This is exactly what I've been looking for.

That makes me really happy to hear! That was the reason I set out to make PoL in the first place. The Mork Borg rules are simple and elegant but the setting is an acquired taste for a lot of people.

Indeed there is! It should be attached to the game's page as a "demo".

Yup! I update that version whenever I update this one :)

Just read through it, this is just the Mork Borg hack I've been hoping for!

A few questions though -

1. The battle axe for the fighter, paladin, and on the equipment table all have different damage values. Is this intentional?

2. According to the level up section, 60 is the max hp for a PC. Is that correct?

3. Does taking one feat multiple times count against the limit of 5?

4. Can you use a boon to lower the DR of a test by -4 after you've rolled? Or must it be before?

Hi! I'm glad you like it so far. I made this mainly to meet my group's specific needs but I figured it might be a very specific niche some others would like filled as well.

1. Nope, that's a mistake! I'll fix that ASAP!

2. Yup, same as in Mork Borg. 60-66 is the HP cap. This is an OSR game though so feel free to hack it if you want to play longer campaigns.

3. In my mind yes, but this is one of those vague rules where I'm leaving it up to the GM to make a ruling as they wish.

4. As the previous answer :)

Thanks for the quick response! My group loves Mork Borg so I'm eager to see how they react to Points of Light.

I'm eager to hear how they like it! Make sure you download the latest version of the book before you play - I incorporated some feedback and corrected a few errors.
